Grill Concepts is interested in developing the Daily Grill brand around the globe. However, in order to assure quality growth of our brand, we are focusing on a limited number of international markets each year. This way, we can ensure that our resources are used to provide the best support possible, and the franchise partners in turn can deliver the best experience to their guests.

International Franchising Process

Based on the information contained in this brochure, determine if you meet the minimum requirements to become an International Daily Grill Area Developer.

Please complete our financial pre-qualifier to see if you qualify.

The following criteria are provided to you only as a guide and do not guarantee your approval to become a Daily Grill International Area Developer.

Our criteria:

  1. Applicants must preferably have experience in a multi-unit food service operation.

  2. Applicants must have substantial retail development experience within the local market proposed for development.

  3. The number of restaurants required to develop will be determined by Grill Concepts after conducting an analysis of the market’s potential. Grill Concepts may not consider any markets with a development requirement of less than three restaurants.

  4. Applicants must possess sufficient capital to fund the development of the market. We currently grant franchises on an area development basis. The minimum net worth requirement is $5 million USD in liquid or cash equivalent.

 

Daily Grill Restaurant

The look of our international restaurants is in keeping with our “American big city grill” heritage. Once a guest steps inside the door, the environment is a warm, inviting, and nostalgic yet contemporary atmosphere, with framed black-and-white photos of American days gone by, featuring celebrities and movie stars from another era. We adapt our restaurants specifically to meet the needs of our guests in each individual market.

Our restaurants are built in a variety of venues including free-standing locations, lifestyle centers, and malls.

Franchise Support

  • Grill Concepts provides extensive training and ongoing support for every phase of restaurant development, including our Los Angeles-based Support Center, our field-based team, and in the future via Intranet. Grill Concepts is fully committed to supporting the growth of our valued brand.

  • Your Grill Concepts Support Team will assist you with defining the best way to launch the Daily Grill brand in your market. Together we will complete a comprehensive brand positioning study that will act as our guide for making decisions regarding location, menu, marketing, and more. In addition, once we design the menu for your market, we’ll help guide you in setting up your market-specific supply chain. We know that our attention to your restaurant’s success is directly in line with Grill Concepts’ long term success.

  • Grill Concepts will support you in determining the optimum Market Development Plan.

    • How many restaurants and where?

    • What type of venues?

    These are questions that are vital to building the brand successfully and achieving the economies of scale necessary to realize your profit goals.

  • As you would expect, Grill Concepts has strict operating procedures and brand standards. Your management team will be trained according to the Grill Concepts Restaurant Management Training Program. Your initial team will include at least four managers for each restaurant, two Front-of-House (“FOH”) and two Back-of-House (“BOH”). In addition to this training support, Grill Concepts will send a team of trainers to support the opening of your first two restaurants.

  • Every International Daily Grill Area Developer has a primary support person called the International Director of Operations (IDO). Once the restaurant is up and running, this highly experienced and trained restaurant professional will make regular visits to your market or region. The IDO will be your consultant on all matters regarding the Daily Grill restaurant business.

  • Additionally, at the Grill Concepts Support Center is a dedicated team to support our International Daily Grill Area Developer in Developmental Services, Marketing and Advertising, Purchasing, Operations, and Training.
